As most of you know, on Monday, Gregg had Lasik. Everything went fine but the irritation directly after the procedure was almost unbearable for him. He said that for the first few hours it felt like he had a chemical burn on his eyes. He had an appointment every single day this week because there was some issues with fogginess but that seems to be clearing up now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good news on his appointment this coming Monday.
I thought this photo showed clearly how he felt... with his head against the wall. There was nothing we could do about the pain and he couldn't stop moving trying to get his mind off of it. We did try some Benedryl and Tylenol and that didn't really help, except it did make him fall to sleep, which was good in the end, since after he awoke, the burning was pretty much gone.
Here's Payton and Austin playing with some silly glasses, since those, lasers and eyeballs were the main topics of discussion over the past week. Thankfully that phase has since passed. Oh, and Payton had her first Orthodontic appointment this week, talk about a sign your baby is growing up... oh, that and the whispers about boys coming from her room when her friends stay over. Don't you occasionally wish you could stop time?
