Flashback Friday

These were all taken around April 2001 (Payton was 2 years, 7 months) when we lived in Washington DC while Gregg was stationed at the Office of Naval Intelligence there.


Payton loved to play cop, she'd dress up in this same outfit almost daily.

Most of the time, she'd put a red handkerchief under the camouflage hat and walk around with a walkie talkie saying "check check" all the time.

She'd often forget to take the hat and handkerchief off after she was finished playing cop, so it would stay on until she remembered. To this day these photos crack us up, she was a total riot.
