First Day of School 2010
Today was the kids first day of school of the 2010 - 2011 school year. The weather wasn't so nice, so I took pictures inside this morning. I'm so glad school started, even if it is only a half day.
Too bad I go back next Monday.

I cannot believe Payton is going to be 12 in less than a month! I don't know how Gregg and I are going to beat off all the boys, she is getting SO cute!
Too bad I go back next Monday.

Our Picnic at Dromoland
On our fifteenth wedding anniversary, we prepared ourselves a little picnic lunch on the grounds at Dromoland Castle Hotel. The hotel offered a selection of picnic lunches prepared by their chef, but I felt that €30 Euro a piece (around $40 USD EACH) for a ham and cheese sandwich, bottled water and a candy bar was a little outrageous, plus, the picnic lunch I really wanted from their selection was around €160 Euro each (which is $260USD EACH).
We had a great time and it was one of the most memorable times I had in Ireland.
Here's our set up, a bunch of grocery items we picked up the day before on our way back from the Cliffs of Moher.
Can you imagine a more beautiful view?
Here's our lunch: Dubliner cheddar cheese, Jaffa cake cookies, water crackers, wine, bottled water, salami, breads, brie, butter, mustard and the most delicious tomatoes of all time.
