Oregon Trip - Part 6: Target Practice

After riding quads, Gregg, Mike, & the boys headed out to the back porch to fire off a few rounds. Mike thought the boys might enjoy this, but I really think the whole thing was an excuse for Gregg and Mike to make lots of noise.

Gregg brought a ton of guns with him all the way from Nebraska for this hour or so of "fun". I just don't get it, but what the heck...

Justin was a good sport and made his way to the side of the mountain to put up some cans for target practice.

Gregg brought quite a few guns with him. Justin seemed to like this huge revolver best though.

Of course Gregg had to give instruction along the way.

Payton came out for a bit too. It was SO loud even with hearing protection.

Payton enjoys taking part in traditionally "boy activities".

Check out Justin in the background, what a ham.

I didn't get many pictures, but I tried to get at least one of each person who shot. Gregg and Mike were out there a good long time. Everyone else filtered in and out of the house off and on, not only was it incredibly loud, but it was cold.

This beautiful cat was inside, where the rest of us stayed most of the time. Its fur felt just like a chinchilla. What a beautiful cat!
Later we all headed back into town and had some pizza and some really good porter from Deschutes Brewery.
