Neptune Festival

Today, while Austin was in school, we made our way down to the beach for the Neptune Festival . The weather was nasty, but we mainly wanted to see the "North American Sand Sculpting Championship" and we were not disappointed.

I thought I'd share, I believe that all of these open up large if you click on them...


This was Gregg's favorite.

This was my favorite, I just loved the smooth finish of this one.



I think this one was Payton's favorite.


This one was pretty cool, with the old car & Neptune himself.






This one made no sense to any of us, too artsy I suppose.


The detail on this one was pretty neat. I have no idea how they do this.

    I have seen so many pictures of these sand sculptures and would absolutely love to see them in person!! They are incredible!

    Lacy,

    Payton isn't starting school here in Virginia Beach. She is waiting until we get to Nebraska. There is a long story behind that though.
