Alexandria Virginia 2009 Part One

We took the week off again this year to make the trip with Gregg to the DC area for his yearly NSW Intel Conference. It was so much fun last year, we thought we'd do it again. We stayed in the same hotel, so no new photographs of that to show.

I'm going to try to split the photos up into multiple posts, so not to bombard you all with too many pictures at once.

We came upon this quaint little garden area by our hotel in Alexandria after a walk through the neighborhood on the way to dinner our first evening in town.

The gravestones were really old, this is one of the older ones. I'm not sure if you can read it easily, though it does blow up. It says that this person, "Eleanor the wife of Mr. Daniel Wren," passed away in 1798. It was a beautiful place there, very serene to say the least.

Tuesday the kids and I went to the DC Mall, visited some museums and took some photos. It was a beautiful day Tuesday, as you can clearly see.

You can compare the same photo from last year HERE. Looks like the kids are growing at about the same speed.
Stay tuned, more to come soon...
