Anyway, Sunday Austin felt like showing off since other people were at the pool that afternoon and went to jump off the diving board. But he didn't jump into the water. Apparently because he didn't want to swim (I got this information directly from him afterward), he jumped onto the side of the pool, rather than into the water, slamming his face on the cement and splitting his chin open in two places.
He seemed fine until blood started literally pouring out of the wounds onto his chest like water from a faucet. Austin was not upset in the least by these events. Gregg took him to the ER since I nearly fainted from all the blood. He got 5 stitches that evening.
Here are a few photos Gregg took with his phone while he was getting sewn up.
That's not blood smeared around, those are gaping, open wounds.
